Wendy dont starve together guide8/14/2023 ![]() ![]() In addition to that, Wendy players deal 40% more damage to vexed enemies instead, meaning that your normal damage penalty is entirely negated, on top of giving you 15% MORE damage than an average survivor. The second mechanic is that Abigail will vex enemies she attacks, causing ALL characters to deal 10% more damage to them. This shield does not apply to the first hit, but makes it even harder for groups of enemies to damage her, as a large portion of their damage will be absorbed by the shield. 5 seconds that blocks ALL the damage from attacks during that time. The first mechanic is that whenever she is attacked, she gains a shield for. This means that Abigail is extremely effective at killing hordes of simple mobs, as she attacks them all at once without chance of retaliation.Ībigail has two more mechanics that aren't immediately obvious. She also deals her attack in an AoE, and attacks fast enough that most enemies that can be stun-locked (spiders and bees) are. During the dusk hours, she deals 25 damage. During the daytime hours, she deals 15 damage. Abigail also passively regenerates 1 health per second, meaning she is very durable even without direct support.Ībigail's damage is not based on her health level, but rather the time of day, as denoted by the top-right 'clock'. It does not matter if she is summoned (even if you leave her in the flower, it counts as time toward her health) as long as she has not died, she gets the health. The amount of health Abigail has is directly tied to the amount of time she's gone without dying she will reach maximum health in 2 full days without dying by default. If Abigail dies to something OTHER than you, her max health will be reset to it's minimum and you will lose 30 sanity instead of 15.Ībigail will either have 150, 300, or 600 max health. You can force attack (Ctrl Left-click) Abigail to de-summon her instantly, preserving her in her current state (she will still regen while not summoned) without killing her, but also losing the 15 sanity you got from summoning her (if you summon her again, you will still get the 15 sanity). ![]() When you summon Abigail, you will gain 15 sanity. I'll go over all her mechanics real quick. She starts with Abigail's flower, which she can use to summon her. Ok, I can avoid it no longer Wendy's main perk is Abigail, her ghastly ghostly twin. ![]() As insanity is something newer players tend to struggle with, this allows them to mainly worry about other things, without having to constantly worry about the scary shadow guys. As darkness and spider insanity aura are the main source of draining sanity early on, this means she will remain relatively sane until she has the means to deal with it. This applies only to insanity auras and darkness, but still means she'll have to deal with insanity MUCH less than other survivors. Wendy also has a positive passive effect, in that she loses 25% less sanity from all insanity auras, including darkness. This hurts her ability to solo bosses, and requires careful planning on your part to play around enemies with particularly large health pools. Wendy's main downside takes the form of a passive effect, as she does 25% less damage than the average survivor, tying her with Wes for least damage in the game. In this section we're going to be going over Wendy's passive inherent perks, rather than the more obvious perk she has. ![]()
